Biotechnological applications

While we mostly carry out research oriented to the generation of basic knowledge, we try to explore the tranferability of our results to improve developmental traits mostly related to yield and reproductive success in crop species. We actively seek the collaboration with companies and biotech platforms for these purposes and use our current funding or other dedicated calls to develop these objectives. Currently, we are doing some work with artichokes, rice, Camelina sativa, pea or wheat, in contact with companies such as Bayer, Nunhems or Copsemar.
